D. Gregory Farwell, MD, FACS, is Chair of Penn Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Farwell specializes in head and neck cancer surgery, thyroid/parathyroid surgery, advanced facial skin cancer surgery, and microvascular reconstruction.

 Troy D. Woodard, MD, FACS was elected President of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and its Foundation (AAO-HNS/F) on October 1, 2024. He leads the nearly 13,000-member organization for a one-year term, representing specialists in the care of the ears, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures.

 Troy D. Woodard, MD, FACS was elected President of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and its Foundation (AAO-HNS/F) on October 1, 2024. He leads the nearly 13,000-member organization for a one-year term, representing specialists in the care of the ears, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures. 


Dr. Woodard is a professor of otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, where he serves as section head of rhinology, sinus, and skull base surgery, surgical director at Beachwood Family Health Center, and director of the advanced rhinology fellowship.
